Member Benefits

Meet people with the same interests as you. Club activities include Shows, Pond tours, BBQ's, Guest speakers, Auctions & Social events!

Purchase discounted products from our member's only Sales Table.

Members are always available to offer advice on all aspects of koi keeping. If you have problems with anything from diet to water quality or just want to know how to get started, come along to a meeting as a visitor and members will try to help.

How to Join

Membership fees are $40 per year (or $10 for a Junior membership) payable from the 1st May of each year. If you join during any other month, a pro rata rate applies ($3.50 per month). Please also include a $5 nomination fee for new memberships.

For example, a new member joining in September, will pay $33 ($3.50 x 8 months + $5 nomination fee)

Membership forms are available on our Forms page, and these can be either posted to us (along with a cheque/money order) or brought to any general meeting (payment by cheque, money order or cash). New memberships are not generally taken at other club events such as Auctions and Shows.

New Member Pack

The new members pack is a great resource for novice members. It is a bag containing a number of items including the book "Keeping Koi in Australia" (also known as the "Koi Bible"), a chart of the major Koi varieties to help identify your fish, 2 CDs for beginners and a KSWA pamphlet with local WA and club information.

New Members can borrow this pack from the Library for a month to 'kick-start' them into the koi keeping hobby.
